Orbiksella on mukana leiriläisiä myös ulkomailta, ja leirilehden toimitus pääsi haastattelemaan unkarilaisia Fannia ja Birgiä. Heillä leiri on lähtenyt hyvin käyntiin, ja he kertoivat, kuinka kaikki ovat olleet niin iloisia ja mukavia täällä. Leiri on ollut heidän mielestään paljon isompi kuin he osasivat odottaa. Kysyimme myös, miksi he päättivät saapua Suomeen. He kertoivat löytäneensä leirin netistä ja päättäneensä lähteä. “Oletimme kuitenkin täällä olevan paljon enemmänkin muista maista partiolaisia, mutta on ollut hauskaa näinkin”, he kertovat.
Eroavaisuuksiakin on löytynyt paljon suomalaisen ja unkarilaisen leirin välillä. “Unkarissa leireillä on enemmän sääntöjä ja kuri on tiukempaa. Täällä on ollut todella rentoa siis”, Fanni ja Birgi kertovat. Täällä on ollut myös heille paljon erilaista ohjelmaa, kuten veneen rakennus, jota he eivät ole ennen kokeilleet. Yllätyksiltäkään ei olla vältytty. Tytöt kertovat, kuinka he yllättyivät normaaleista suihkuista: “Unkarissa yleensä peseydymme vain joen rannalla”. Birgi ja Fanni paljastivat myös, että on joitakin asioita, joita he kaipaisivat Orbis-leiriarkeensa. “Unkarissa leiriaamu alkaa aina lipunnostolla, jossa meillä on partioasu päällämme. Laulamme kansallislaulun, rukoilemme ja saamme tietää päivän ohjelman.”
”Odotamme leiriltä sitä, että saamme tutustua muihin leiriläisiin sekä suomalaiseen kulttuuriin. Lisäksi haluaisimme vaihtaa huiveja tai merkkejä joidenkin kanssa. Paras leirivinkkimme muille leiriläisille onkin, että älkää pelätkö meitä, emme pure. Haluamme tutustua rohkeasti toisiin yli rajojen”, Fanni ja Birgi tiivistävät.

Orbis also has campers from abroad and the press get to interview Fanni and Birgit from Hungary. They have had a great start of the camp and they told how everyone has been so happy and nice. The camp has been bigger than they expected. We also asked why they decided to visit finland. They told how they found the camp from the internet and decided to go. “We thought that there would be more scouts from abroad here. But we have had fun.”
Theres been also differences between the finnish and hungarian camp. “In Hungary we have more rules. It’s been so chill here.” Fanni and Birgi told. There have also been many different programs here like building a boat, that they haven’t done before. It has also been surprising things. “In Hungary we bath in the river and here are normal showers. That was new.” Birgi and Fanni also reveals things that they are missing from hungarian camp. “In the morning we rise the flag and sing national anthem. We also pray and get told our program of the day. We also have our uniforms.”
We expect from the camp that we get to know other campers and finnish culture. We also like to change our scarfs or badges. Our best tip for the other campers is that don’t be afraid of us, we don’t bite. We would like to get know others over the limits.
